More Confidence

Your files have a new home.
Everything you know still works.

Carolina Meadows has moved its shared and personal drives to Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive. Your files came with us — same folders, same documents. This site shows you where they are, how to open them, and how to get more out of the new tools when you're ready.

Find my files What is SharePoint?

Start Here

Choose your path

There are two ways to reach your files, and both are covered step by step. Most people start with the one that feels familiar, then grow into the other.

Feels just like before

File Explorer

Your department's folders and your personal files still appear right in Windows File Explorer — the same window you've always used. Double-click to open, drag to move, save as usual.

Use File Explorer

The new way — and the preferred one

The SharePoint web interface

Open your files from any browser, on any computer — no office PC required. Search everything, see who changed what, and restore earlier versions of a document yourself.

What Changed

The short version

Before the move Now What that means for you
Shared group drives (your department's drive) SharePoint document libraries The same shared folders, now available in File Explorer and from any web browser.
Your private drive OneDrive Your personal work files, backed up automatically and available wherever you sign in.
Files lived on a server in the building Files live securely in Microsoft's cloud No more “the drive is down.” Files are protected, versioned, and recoverable.

Good to know

Nothing was left behind. Every folder and file from the old drives was moved during the migration. If you can't find something, it's almost always in the same folder path as before — and the Help & FAQ page shows you how to search for it in seconds.

Why It's Worth It

A better way to work with files

Work from anywhere

Your files are no longer tied to one building or one computer. Sign in from any browser and pick up where you left off.

No more “final_v7_REAL.docx”

SharePoint keeps version history automatically. Everyone works on one copy, and you can look back at — or restore — any earlier version.

Edit together, at the same time

Two people opening the same document no longer locks anyone out. You can both edit at once and watch each other's changes appear.

Find files fast

Search looks inside documents, not just at file names. Type a few words you remember and the file finds you.
